Burlington Real Estate - Homes Sold in First Half of 2010 - from Jan 1st, 2010 to June 30th, 2010.

Let's take a look at the numbers for first half of 2010 for Burlington, MA.

In this blog, I'll talk about only the single family residences and the data is from MLSPIN.

Burlington Real Estate - Homes Sold in first half of 2010 - How does it compare to same period in 2009 - i.e. from Jan 1st, 2009 to Jun 30th 2009?

Here we go - split by price range, this is what happened in 2009 first half.

Well,you can easily say, Burlington has gone up in volume almost 30% in first half compared to 2009 voulme. Considering the fact that the Obama Tax Credit was ending in June 2010, some closings may have been pushed into June and that may be the reason why this increase. (Well, I had one client who contributed to this!) Of course, it's a different story that the tax credit is now extended till September 30th, 2010 for eligible home buyers.

I believe. Next in series: first half for Burlington Condos from MLSPIN - and if time permits, the same stats for some other town including North Reading.

So, that was a market snapshot for Burlington single family residence sale for first half of 2010!
